Concept Paper: Business Communication Centre
The Definition
Business communication is the process of sharing information, data, ideas and new visions between people within and outside companies. Effective business communication is how employees and management interact to reach organizational goals. Its major purpose is to improve organizational practice and reduce errors and omissions.
There are three concepts of communication:
- Written Communication
- Verbal Communication
- Non-verbal Communication (such as facial expression, gestures, anger and happiness)
The first concept is where you communicate something to someone through different mediums. We observe three gaps in society due to lack of communication:
- Lack of trust building, lack of research, lack of innovation
- No business plan, society is always being ignored, no modern education activities
- Ignorance about the ground realities of society
As a result, a few groups and individuals are beneficiaries due to strong ties with politicians and high government officials. Many citizens are badly ignored and deprived of necessary benefits. In our view the system should prevail equally, irrespective of any favoritism to anyone in society. However, the share of profit and gain may vary, less or more.
Our Plan
We have established a “Business Communication Centre” in Sheikhupura to provide and seek information, data and figures, and new research in economic fields and other relevant sectors. We shall invite experts, researchers and professors from local and foreign universities, research institutes, embassies, high commissioners and other relevant institutes to send us their research reports, new ideas and new technologies to be implemented in different institutions of Pakistan like industries, chambers of commerce, universities, research centers and other trade bodies.
All publications and research papers received from local and foreign universities and institutions will be shared with local industrialists and businessmen for their guidance, with the aim to promote their quality products in their industrial units. We shall also arrange facilities for local industrialists for signing international contracts and joint ventures in Pakistan. In a nutshell, we will promote corporate culture in the country with special emphasis on promoting the SME sector in the Motherland.
The Business Communication Centre will also arrange and celebrate the Independence Day of different countries and invite their ambassadors, high commissioners and commercial councilors to celebrate their National Day, promoting harmony and concordance between the communities of Pakistan and other countries. The BCC will also arrange fairs and exhibitions in Pakistan and abroad to promote exports, cultural and heritage values and the soft image of Pakistan.
